  1. Not sure you figured this out yet, but I just bought a new Galil Ace pistol yesterday and found out that the flash hider is very easy to remove once you know the trick. It takes two wrenches turned in the opposite direction. Mine came off with very little effort I found the IWI video explaining this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32euBLVrxRo
