I would have listed the date as "Not soon enough" .  ;D

Moochelle is the one who better worry.
Marie Antionette got her head cut off for trying to tell people what to eat.
And she at least left them their cake, not a friggin' carrot stick.

Speaking of what's her name, the POSOTUS is not the only Obama who's tombstone might be in that yard.

The Whiner's assumption is that it refers to BO, but the only hint that it might be BO is that ? for the date of birth...but I don't know the date of birth of ANY of the Obamas in the whole world.

It could even be Fred Obama..a guy I met drinking in a bar overseas...never did get his birthday either.

People are too easily upset. They need to get over it and mind their own business.

Liberals are not easy enough to offend.
The country would be much better off if they all went off somewhere and sulked for say a century or 10.

I moved again and just finished cleaning the other house this morning.  The owner stopped by while we were cleaning and it was quite a pleasure to hand her a box of about thirty of those f*@king CFC light bulbs full of mercury...

The liberal old crone had put them in before I moved into the house, I'd removed them and she added to them back after an energy audit she had done this past summer.  I came home from work and all of my incandescents were on the counter.  I called her the next day and gave her some grief about the whole thing.  Told her that it's not Natl Grids business how much money I spend on light or the .gov's business to "instruct" me on how to save the planet!

When I told her why I didn't care for the CFC bulbs and the heavy metals contained within, she cover her ears and left the room!  When I left today, I made sure that every fixture in the house had incandescent installed!

I'll tell you one thing about the CFC bulbs.
I put them in all the lights in my Apt when I moved in there because I heard they would cut electric usage (cost) I have not had one burn out since then.
that was May of 06.
But from whet I have seen the LED bulbs are better than either CFC or incandescent since they use little juice and give a LOT more light, though I don't know how well they stand up over time.

I had several run five or six years but these new ones she bought were really, really cheap quality.  The dimwit Natl Grid guy put four CFC bulbs in two fixtures on a dimmer.  They didn't last two weeks..

He also put one in a small lamp of ours and the thing got so hot it nearly smoked the lamp shade!

I like the LED type but until they drop in price from 20-25 bucks each, that's going to wait!

The thing I didn't like about CFCs is the freaking wait time for them to get up to full power.
They may be better now then back then but when I flip on a light switch, it's because I want LIGHT.
Not some treehugger's wet dream of what a lightbulb is.

I think the LEDs are miles ahead but they are pricey. (ones I got were ~$9-10) I finally got smart enough to put them in the couple of spots that were a PITA to change. An LED should have quite a good lifespan. We'll see...

Let's see, we started with a picture of an Obama tombstone, and we are now discussing lightbulbs .
Is this what they call "thread drift" ?  ;D

There's always a dim bulb in the pack, Tom...

Some of them seem to be on rheostats, they get dimmer.  ;D

(Can we get back to trashing liberals, I'm running out of light puns.  ;D  )

Thanks. You guys have reminded me to change a light bulb that I noticed was burned out today. I got it in time to put the old one in this weeks trash. I have to keep using incandescents or else replace two dimmer switches I installed. I always use them on full power anyway so I should change them. I got a bunch of CFLs free when they did a home energy audit and hardly used any of them. I keep buying bulbs for the two rooms with dimmer switches and I'm waiting for the other old bulbs to burn out. The 13 watt CFLs are supposed to be as bright as a 60 watt incandescent, so less than a quarter of the power. I should save energy where I can.

Just goes to show, I'm not the first to notice it.
