It was a beetle when it was small... then it grew up into a beagle... It's a Rocky Mountain thing...

Stay safe,

Mike

Which show was that on?  I'll turn on CC and watch.

Having done CC for a show for a year I can tell you there's not much quality control.  Nor is there any incentive.  Even the people who rely on it will tell you they don't much care.  Of course, one would hope that for recorded shows they would get it right.  My production tried, but we knew there were still quite a few mistakes.  During QC before we released the show for airing we'd see them, but we never went back and corrected the mistakes.   Just weren't worth it.

Alf - the wonder, not the beagle  (or beetle)

Alf,

It was on last night's show.  As much as my wife says I need it, I don't use the closed captioning so didn't catch it.  It is toward the end when Michael is talking about carry holsters needing to look like they have been chewed by the dog, and as he holds a museum grade piece of leather the mountain top puppy gets abused.
