Long story short i've been in a legal battle with a state agency over my company.  They want us to get several lic, of which none would cover what we actually do and it would be illegal to use them for that purpose.  we have made several counter offers on pulling other lic.  Which of corse they no.  Standard bs.  So we are working with  reps to have a bill passed to cover our type of biz...  sucks had to lay off 27 people.  yeah that will help the econ...  ::)


Oh yeah being a dad is great, can't wait for him to start walking.

Hang in there or move is about the only advice I can give!  Kinda kills the entrepreneurial spirit doesn't it?

That's a darn poor excuse for avoiding us.
Courts close around 5 PM.
Leaves you plenty of time to post.
And don't give me that "Oh, I need my sleep" crap, you're young, you can sleep when your dead !   >:(

Glad to hear it's just aggravation and nothing really bad.  ;D

Glad it's only a figurative pain in the neck, but sorry Big Brother is hassling you.  That will teach you not to fit in the round hole.

So what you're saying is after buying a new house, having a baby and enduring the trials of being an employer in CA they couldn't deal with your contribution to society and decided to harass you out of business, if only temporarily?

Sound like it may be time to join those economic refugees from CA in the neighboring states, you have my approval to relocate to OR  ;D

TAB, Let me know when the bill is filed. I'll contact my state senator & assembly woman (Ted & Beth Gaines) about getting them to cosponsor the legislation...

We called organizations like that, the "sales prevention team". 

Why does there have to be a "license" to be in business?   Oh yeah.  Right.  So "they" can control you.

As strange as it may seem, a lot of us missed you--and your bad spelling, lousy grammar, and peculiar political observations.

For all your faults (and we each have our own list) you do add a certain "sumpin-sumpin" to the threads.  It's missed when it's absent.

Hope the legal wrangling turns out in your favor.  If not, Florida is just about lawless and we would welcome another "gun-nut" to our fair shores.

Going to meeting number 9 thousand( seems like it anyways)  with the agency in question monday.  After that the only hope is the legal system ( we are screwed) and my reps...  both are long shots.
