I did like the part where he bypassed the Clintons and George W on the podium. At lunch he recognized the Clintons and that was OK I thought....he does need Congress to get things done. They can charge them with treason later on when no one is expecting it... ;)

We all know people here who need jobs and who have been touched by violence...maybe it's dark a dark speech for the hotsy totsy beautiful people who live up above us...but it's spot on in this world.

Can't be AF 1 since that call sign is reserved for the plane carrying THE PRESIDENT, not the ex-president. What the media says is that it was an Air Force plane. Probably the smaller jet used by the VP. He's off to Palm Springs for some R&R (golf) and inner reflection.
Tempted to make fun of that but most presidents have done the same thing. Take a vacation. I do hope however the USAF charges him MSRP on the cost of that.
And yes, the Obamas will settle in a multi-million dollar mansion in DC. 9 bedrooms I think. So much for their hometown of Chicago. And how exactly do you amass so much money from a life of public service?

He has already shown the press that he is not interested in catering to them. This will be an interesting time as they try to keep up with him instead of him bowing to them. They have seen a hint, and they are about to get a huge lesson in the Constitution: The First Amendment gives them freedom, not all access and advance notice.

Obama, along with his fellow communists / socialists should watch what's happening in Venezuela. Maduro is said to be arming only his supporters. How he determines who they are, and how he knows only they can be trusted with guns, is question that could start an argument by itself.
The people are starving, and have been reduced to standing in bread lines for hours on end. There is no medicine in the whole country. Except for a few hospitals that are overrun with patients. Even fresh water is scarce to non existent. Yet the entire nation is literally flooded with oil. This whole thing is a smoking hand grenade, with a handle that's been missing for the last 3 seconds. Yet another example of socialism run amok, that the liberal idiots in this country will overlook because, "the right people are not in charge".

I sure hope so. I wonder if the food lines are as "real" as they appear? I am certain there is a large level of non-existent product directly due to socialist practices but there may also be a lack to ensure control of the populace. Hitler did a great job of population control with around 1,100 calories a day to the people...an extra loaf of bread every 2 weeks or so to the snitches.
Rural areas fare better...always...than the cities. Control the cities and you control the country.

I was just reading a book about the Royal Navy in WWI.

Obama makes deals bad for the United States and does not force others to honor agreements made over the decades, Pres. DJT corrects deals and calls others on their obligations, and B Ho runs around saying this is not his fault or the fault of our citizens.

I would change that to read "the only good (in some people's opinion) thing history will remember". There will be a LOT of negative things remembered about this corrupt individual and his corrupt administration. I believe he will be compared to the start of the fall of the Roman Empire. He has started this country on a very steep road downhill and while President Trump has started to turn it back there is a LONG way to go!

Great minds think alike. I read a news article yesterday about Pres. BHO making a "world tour" undermining our current President, Pres. DJT. Started off looking for this topic, and gave up when something important came up ... I think it was pizza dough time or something like that.
Glad the guy is no longer in office, but sick and tired of him and his ilk continuing to try and influence both domestic and international politics. Between his undermining, the Clintons laying low to let controversy quiet down, the media refusing to state facts, and groups pushing a youth movement, we are prime for trouble this fall and in two years.
Why the big push to register high school students, why all the influence being given to high school students, why the push for same day and polling place registration, why the push to disallow removing inactive voters from the rolls, ...? The only way to remove effective elected representation is to make sure that we get as many ill informed, emotional, non critical thinking, selfish, short sighted, ... voters in the polls as possible. Oh yea, did I mention keeping the rolls so cluttered that you cannot find actual voter fraud until it is far too late to correct or reverse?
The man who made history based on race is not an occupant of the office anymore, and our current President is chipping the legacy away through corrective measures, but we have a long long up hill battle to repair the damage done to our society.

It is getting better, but it is still pretty painful. Last Tuesday was one week post surgery, and day one of therapy. I go twice a week for four weeks. The deep muscle massages on the leg really suck, but the exercises are helping. The massages may be as well, but they really hurt.
Yesterday, and most of today, I took the therapists' orders, and I stayed off it 90% of the time. I iced it a lot, and it has been feeling much better. I did run to Home Depot today for a few supplies, and then I built a pair of saw horses. The, back on the ice.
I go back to see the doc again in the morning, so will see what he says.

Seems like it's going really well for you. I remember calling a friend who had his done once about 3 months after the surgery. He was pouring sweat from pain after a 6 pack...

Just scope, but what started as "medium" damage was made worse when I didn't obey while waiting for surgical date to arrive. Paying the price now.

I am just about due too have my left knee completely replaced. Had 3 surgeries on it so far and one on my right. My right shoulder needs it too( I have metal and cadaver parts there now, so I am both cyborg and zombie)
The issue for me is recovery, it means I can not work for about between 3-6 months, which is very hard for me, as I now have 23 people working for me. So trying too keep them busy is a job in itself. I went on a mini vacation for 3 days (2-5) the start of July. Turned off my phone, came back too 328 voice mails, of which only 3 were from the same person ( all the same guy). I really need too higher about 10 more guys, but I can't find people that want too work. Hell I have 7 now, that are just there because they can use a broom. It's nuts. In less then 4 years I went from new guy in town, too where I am today, with zero advertising out side of biz cards and signs in front of houses. I have pissed off a lot of locals as not only have a take their customers from them, I am charging 25% more too boot. I am not complaining, it's just amazing how things can explode some times.

Doc says things look good. All dressings removed, and only two new steri strips in place. He said go ahead and get it wet, and let them fall off on their own.
As for pain, he pointed out that I have more arthritis than I did 34 years ago, and they did a bit more this time. Just told me to keep doing my exercises, going to therapy, and let pain be the guide
Next appointment is end of August, and that will be the last one.

Two things...
1) His resurfacing shows the desperation of the leftist/socialist/communist democrat party!

I was mowing lawn last evening, and I did my weekly passes outside the fence in the first 20 feet of the wetlands behind us. As I walked along a turtle crossed my path. My mind wandered, and I thought of Obama, turtle, post ... Post Turtle. The cold shiver of fear crawled up my back.
In recent days I've seen reports on the debates with promises of free stuff for all, anti gun stuff (I won't go tinfoil hat at this point), and liberal billionaires calling for higher taxes on the "wealthy" and a wealth tax (confiscation of what they have - not what they earn). Do the labels communism and socialism come to mind. Yesterday I read an article in CDLLIFE about a trucker, and owner operator, that is running for office in Washington as a Democratic Socialist, and he is running on a platform based on evil big business. As a side note, he is an owner operator, contracting expedited freight for companies like FedEx, and team drives with his wife. He made the decision to jump into one of the most competitive and demanding, high pressure areas of trucking, and is whining about the contracts he signed.
I fear a movement next year like Obama's "free Obama phones." The spoiled brats, the gullible, and the jealous are falling for the deception. People are up in arms concerning Russian meddling. I believe there was. They did like very group, inside our nation and outside, does. They spread facts and fiction to cause confusion in our system.
Russia, you fear Russia? Who and where are the puppeteers that put a turtle on the post, who is the next turtle, and what is their plan?

His son, John Kerry's stepson and Whitey Bulger's nephew got 1.5 billion in funding from the Chicoms. No one get's funding like that without something concrete and a proven track record and even then....it comes in drips and drabs.
