Title: XDm-45 to be released later this year
Post by: atmiller on January 15, 2010, 02:31:35 PM

Posted by a reliable source over on XDTalk.  I'm sure we'll have confirmation at SHOT.  Tactical Solutions is supposed to be releasing a .22 conversion upper for the XD as well.

I will be a very happy XDer when I have those 2 items in the gun safe.

The only thing I do not like about the XDm is the grip is too loooooong top to bottom.

The compact XDm 3.8 is a better fit for me. That in 45 ACP is what I'm hoping for.

Well, the grip on the XDm 3.8 is the same size as the full size XDm.....they just made the slide shorter.  To my way of thinking since the grip is the hardest part to conceal, the XDm 3.8 makes little sense.  A compact should have a reduced grip.....................Go figure.   ???

Well dang! I was told the XDm 3.8 had a shorter G19 type grip!? If not, what the heck is the point!?
