Title: New S&W Victory
Post by: jaybet on August 26, 2016, 06:52:19 AM
Decided to finally get a .22 target pistol. The grandkids are getting old enough soon, and it's nice for introducing new shooters. I'd seen some stuff about the S&W Victory and I just got one.

I haven't fired it yet, but reviews are great. I took it apart last night...one hex head set screw in front of the trigger guard and the upper and lower separate. One more set screw and the barrel comes off. The internal slide comes out, there's an extractor, firing pin seems to function as the guide rod with a slide spring around it. It's amazingly simple compared to the other popular 22s.

This thing also comes with a bull barrel, fiber optic front and rear sights, and a picatinny rail that can be easily installed on top for an optic. Nice and easy.

I'll come back when I have fired it, hopefully tomorrow.

Cool.  If I didn't already have 3 .22 semi-autos.

And thanks for giving my stock price a boost.
