I tried to post this in the video section but I guess you cant make new topics. I remember reading on sigforum.com that Muchael Bane had done a video on the 250 but was waiting until July to post it. Well it is september now, sig doesnt even show anything about it on their site, and the people with the public safety purchase program said they have no plans of adding it to the list.

We are waiting for a signal from SIG on when we can release this video.
-
Great to hear... was begining to think the P250 project had gone down the drain.
-
It's a great gun, if it ever gets into the pipeline!

I am holding back on a 220compact until I see this gun. Sounds like a good idea with the modular design. I guess they dont want the gun to go the way of their pro series (heard more about them since the 2022) where everyone seems to consider them second to the classic line.
-
I have a SigPro and I like it better than the Classic line.
-
I'm going to pop the 250 videos next week...I do like the gun a lot, and it's an impressive platform.
I want to give RED OCTOBER all it's due tomorrow!!!!!

I'm really looking forward to this video and the release of this gun... I am looking to buy my 1st hand gun. I have been shooting many makes and models, and with the exception of the Glock 19, all my preferences have been Sig Sauer models.
Being able to change out the frame makes me less nervous about making the decision for my 1st purchase, provided it shoots as well as the P229 I have been favoring.

I've got a SigPro 2022 and I LOVE THIS GUN!!! I just turned 4200 rounds on it since I took it out of the box and not one hiccup! Simple breakdown, easy to clean, just a really nice piece. Being a Sig fan I really AM looking forward to the 250. ......can't wait!

This week?
I have been looking at some recent articles and it looks great. I am issued a full size 220 and it would be nice to get a modular compact/ subcompact 45 or even 40 for carry.
-
I'm looking forward to the 250 as well.
BTW, Anyone that dislikes the SigPro has never shot one! Might be a little heavy, but it is a great shooter.
Remember, my opinion is worth what you pay for it.

I have no idea why the sig pro did not take off. Maybe lack of marketing or something.
-
BTW, Sig still holding the 250 videos...I have new video of production 250s being shot last week at the Sigarms Academy...probably Thanksgiving...

Heard sig is shipping them in like 2 weeks.

Looks like I will have my 250 before the video is up online. Hope to see some full size shots.

What can I say?
For whatever reasons, I no longer have any direct communications with Sig Sauer. I went to Exeter, NH, to try and rectify that situation and obviously failed.
Stuff happens.

Wow did they just take your video and say screw you?

It doesn't surprise me that MB can't get good contact with Sig. I've had some disappointing interactions with them myself.
Don't get me wrong...I have two Sigs and I love them both, but....
I warranty registered both Sigs in Auguest- they send you some kind of little knife for doing so (you can never have enough crappy little knives!). Still waiting.
I also bought a GSR in August and got a $100 certificate for Sig gear. I still haven't recieved all of that. It dribbles in one hat, one shirt- whatever, at a time.
I sent them an email to politely complain, my point being that I know they're not in the trinket or clothing business, and I would have bought the guns anyway, but for doing so THEY gave me the free stuff, so they should be johnny-on-the-spot about delivering. If you're doing a promotion why wouldn't you have the stuff and build the goodwill by giving people what you say you'll give them?
Anyway, the stuff isn't that important...I can wear a hat that says S&W or CZ or whatever and they don't seem to care.. They just seem to be in their own little world up there in NH.(Sig Sauer, that is...you NH'ers are fine folk)

Who knows...businesses do change, and each new set of executives have a different agenda. I love my Sigs and totally appreciate their support for SHOOTING GALLERY over the years. Hopefully, we can work toward a new relationship.

Hopefully, does not surprise me. Apparently things got shaken up quite a bit with the name change.
-
Makes more sense to an agency needing to fit different people/missions than an individual. The cost of a new slide//bl/mags/grip has got to be close to the cost of a new pistol. Advantage is the new stuff isn't a gun that needs to be registered, NICS, etc.

I know Russ Smith (head of marketing) very well. I was just speaking to him about this. it seems the gentleman that you had been dealing with has died. He had a heart attack in the parking lot leaving work one day!
