Just said goodbye to my little buddy of the last 13 years. He left us looking into the eyes of his favorite packmate, my lovely wife Susan!
RIP Harley!
Thanks for being a fine, fine fella...

Probably the single most difficult thing I've done in my life... He's going to be sorely missed by all of us. A really exceptional dog, albeit a diminutive one, he was a terrier through and through. I'm a bit worried about Suzy but she'll be OK eventually. She and Harley have spent nearly every day together throughout his lifetime.
Thanks guys...

Know what it's like.
Our Bichon departed us 2 years ago and we still miss her. She passed on while snuggled next to me on the sofa.

It's so very hard to lose a part of the family that pets become. My condolences.

Sorry for the loss, Tim.

Sorry to hear that Tim. Those are tough times.

Sorry to hear Timothy. Reminds me of all the ones we have had and lost. Unless someone has had a faithful pet they can never understand how tight the bond and the emptiness left.
Take care.

Thanks again fellas... And, I'm the basket case here! Sue is holding up better than me thus far.

The stronger the bond, the greater the pain.
The sorry SOB who has never loved will never mourn.
Let the sorrow be a tribute to the joy Harley shared with you and not his epitaph.
Let it always bring thoughts of the joy and they will last forever.

We've lost two boxers over the last 7 years and both can still bring a tear to the eye if I dwell on them too long.
My wife has been following Gabe to the Rescue on FB. The guy that had Gabe set it up after Gabe passed and has put hundreds of dogs out of shelters into good homes. May ease the pain a little to provide a good home for man's best friend.

Harley certainly had an agenda that we never figured out and he made us laugh more than cry over the years! Every dog I've ever owned had an agenda! Sure wish they could talk... :D

Too early to think of a replacement but I will most certainly entertain other options should we consider another K9...
Thanks again guys! I'm good...might be tough when we go get his ashes though... (not my idea)..

My wife put up a frame with 4 pics of our Keely, can't look at it too much but it helps. Hope it's getting easier.
