My Father had a stroke a week or so ago, it affects his ability to eat, can't chew, has not eaten in 3 days, complicated by Alzheimer and Parkinsons, not expected to leave the facility, he is my hero, taught me to hunt, and fish, and took me, even when I had a broken leg, that's when I shot My 1st deer, on crutches using his rifle. Prospects are grim, but prayers are appreciated. His Name is Leon Moreno, strongest man I ever knew.
Thanks to all.

Please find a way to let him know Ben, many are praying for him.
O God, Mercifully accept our prayers, and grant to your servant Leon, the help of your power, that his sickness may be turned into health, and our sorrow into joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
May Leon continue to trust in You Lord, regardless of his
physical condition. May he be strengthened in his faith,
being fully persuaded that You have the power to do what
You have promised. (Job 13:15; Ro. 4:19-21)
Please let us know if we can do anything.
God Bless You & Your Father,
Tom.

Thank you to all of you, Dad passed Wednesday night, but I appreciate all your prayers, I cannot thank you enough.

Sorry to hear that M25, but with the problems he had, he would not have enjoyed much "quality of life" had he continued. Now he can remember his Kids, and Grandkids and watch over them.
Instead of crying because he can't remember as I have seen with other Alzheimer victims. Personally I fear that more than Cancer or Ebola.

Benny, so sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. Right now there is nothing I can say to relieve the grief, even as you probably knew it was coming. Just know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come, that you may find some comfort in knowing that your dad is in a much better place and is whole again.
Sincerest condolences,
Chuck

I'm sorry to hear about your dad's passing. This is a part of life, but one none of us want to have to face. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of grieving. I hope you recover soon to rejoice in the life he lead and the legacy he left for you to follow!
Peace be with you Benny,
Mike

I apologize for taking so long to notice this thread, but I tend to overlook this section. I guess I just hope that my Down Range buddies don't actually NEED prayer, although that is seldom the case. I'm so sorry to hear about your father, Benny. I don't want to rehash what others have already said, but you know, as well as I do, he is in a much better place and we should all be so lucky. That fact does little to blunt our pain of being separated, but in the grand scheme of things, it is only for a short time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hang in there buddy.
