My wife loves it too.  It think I am gonna have to fight her for it.

Well now I am insulted!  It is a .45!

No insult intended. A lot of those little bitty carry guns are in 9 mil, and besides, I can't see good enough to figure it out from the picture.
That has to be a handful! But at 3-5' it should give the bad guy the urge to back off- or at least to fall down.

I know, I know, I was just joking.  You know how some people think the 9mm is a pea shooter.  (I am not one of them.)  You would be suprized how easy this gun is to shoot.  It really does not kick that bad at all, and follow up shots are quick.  I think it has something to do with that little dual spring guide rod they have in there.

My wife up and took my Kimber Compact years ago.. until I made her go buy her own.

Standing rule in the house... Stainless hers, and any other color is mine.  :)  If I am caught with anything Stainless, I had better have a darn good reason, and quick.. :)

Nice buy gunman... now go get your own.. :)

It's purty, but not as purty as mine with its whacky colored custom AlumaGrips!

I'm actually thinking of carrying mine, since I'm going back to shooting Single Stack in USPSA. All the rounds I've been putting downrange recently are from 1911s, so it makes sense to "simonize" my guns...

Nice Kimber...See if you can find an IDPA club close and do a re-shoot with it or a main shoot.  I use a Colt Officers ACP w/alloy frame and carry it too!  As they say Don't Leave Home Without It!  Check out Expanding Full Metal Jacket on this forum and check out the carry ammo discussion

You need to move out of that state and into new hampshire(w.w.w.freestateproject.org) no firearms should be banned anywhere as D.C. has learned the hard way.

I gotta see a picture of those... What are they? Yellow with green, pink, and purple hippie flowers all over??? ;D

Gunman, nice new piece. My dad has one of the first Ultra Carry's, in Stainless. It's a great gun. I have it in my hand right now in fact. One thing's missing from yours though..... LASERGRIPS!!! ;D 8)

Why is every body so jacked up on KIMBER. I dont see the quality or the shooting. I out shot a guy with a KIMBER, with a Glock . I wouldnt pay that much for a factory pistol, I can have one built for less and will out shoot any KIMBER.

I love my Kimber too. It's my first 1911. I don't think I'm going to be happy with just one. ;)

I love the CDP series, but that's because it's the more southpaw friendly out of the box.

Still, I wouldn't mind dropping an extra $50 on one of the Aegis 9mm's.
