Any body seen this? Wood AR furniture from Rock River. Wish I had the money for this. I like the black laminate, but the walnut is nice too.

Where it belongs.

Would add a lot of weight too!

Added "survivability" function to the rifle... Campfire wood!
Gotta have a rail on the bottom of the gas block to mount a coffee cup. ;D

I don't know what you boys are talking about, those stocks are sexy. I'm digging the walnut. Hell, I figured you old timers would appreciate the concept. ;D

The extra weight is a benefit if you have to butt stroke someone with it, but I'm not sure how the wood handgaurds are at dissipating heat.

I like a nice walnut stock as much as the next guy, but dude it SO doesn't look right on an AR15! The Laminate wood ones might look better in colors other than gray. I'll keep my standard black CAR stock, thanks. And judging from bump firing my dad's AK, wood don't dissipate heat very quickly. I wear a glove on my left hand when I fire that gun for an extended period of time.

I like the black one, it looks pretty cool!

I like that grey lamiate, but only on a BBQ rifle. That would be really hard on my soul to paint.. :)

Don't really like it in my opinion. Too much work to keep it safe when a AR is supposed to be exposed to the elements. I would do the same with an AK and did with a SKS I formerly owned. Wood is a no go for me. Wood is fine for practical/tactical purposes where it is not exposed to the elements as much. Again, my opinion.

Gotta agree with Tom here. I would prefer a wood stock on my AR IF I was planning on bayoneting and butt stroking someone with it. Otherwise, I like the collapsible plastic. Hell, if I had my choice ALL my hunting and SD guns would be in stainless and synthetic. I'll leave the wood to the heirloom guns, I lke them, I just prefer low maintainence in a gun and a woman.

The most admiring one is the walnut one. Unfortunately I don't even have the money to buy otherwise that would be the first priority.
