Title: Are you going to vote? Are you getting like minded people to vote?
Post by: Rastus on September 29, 2018, 05:51:11 AM
It's important for us to get the like minded out to vote this time.  It's easy to see with what went on to torpedo Trump by the lying thug swamp, Clintons, liberal/communists/socialists/dimocrats that we very nearly lost the nation in 2016.  We may still lose it.

Right now our power is our vote.

My wife two daughters and my son are all voting. All four love President Trump. Right now my wife and daughters are pissed about this supreme court fiasco. They do not believe Ford and are mad at how Flake yellow bellied.

I'll be there for whatever it's worth up here in the heart of leftist philosophy.

My wife is registered but won't make the effort.  She didn't care to register but she obtained a CT license a few weeks back and they automatically register you as unaffiliated...

I think this Kavanaugh thing will overwhelm the polls with sound minded conservatives and blow the lefties out at most every turn!

I'm hoping that the gun owners of NY will all get out and vote Il Duce Jr (cuomo) out of office, Molinaro is my County executive and is a good man. We have the numbers to do it as long as every gun owner in NY gets out and votes cuomo out.

My daughters always vote. My son just turned 18 and his birthday wish was to register to vote. They always vote. They remember that dad was deployed alot when they were little. My dad was a Korea vet. One uncle is a Vietnam vet, One a WW2 vet, and my grandfather was a WW1 vet. They feel it is important to vote since they visited Arlington after one of my deployments and found out the price many paid for their rights. My wife home schools them and she showed them this video and they took it to heart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaxGNQE5ZLA

Very good Bulldog!  I am glad to hear your family homeschools.  We did it all the way through and the boys were well prepared for college.

Your children have a foundation others will never know they missed.  One of the striking things I noticed from the homeschooling experience was the ability of my children to resist peer pressure.  Things I would have fallen for to "join the pack" my boys simply walked away from without a thought or a care.

Rastus I noticed the same thing peer pressure is something they seem to be immune from.

I have observe that the inoculation against peer pressure is a very potent character trait that has wide ranging benefits..

Just as a quick review, they did have the edge and took the House.

However, they did not do as well, I think, as they thought they were.  There were a lot of retiring congressman (RINO's, imagine that) and it was a mid-year election where the opposition party usually gains a lot of votes.  In light of the retirements and mid-term elections I don't think the dims have the support the propaganda outlets purport.

That is my take as well.  In fact, with historical facts taken into account, they lost.  Sure, they took the house, but not by huge numbers, and, this is a big and, they lost ground in the Senate.  I anticipate two years f smoke and mirrors to distract as many as possible, frustrate the actual workers, and sucker the sheep.

That sums it up.

But, Trump might not get everything needed accomplished with red herrings being in season, but it is not likely any Democratic legislation will pass at all.

It takes 2/3 of each chamber, House and Senate, to override a Presidential Veto.

Who stayed home?  Fess up, read the Declaration and go, and sin no more.
