:) It took a looong time to change it too.
I was thinking the first day, how long does a server upgrade take? A few hours? A day? I can't believe it's finally done.

Probably nothing we'd notice.
The message on the login page said "Server Upgrade" and that can take time to switch crap over.

Wow. That was a longer dry spell than last time's server upgrade.
However, a goodly portion of it was spent in the Pacific ! ! ! !

Picture posting seems to work fine.
Picture posting from an outside link or site does, but standard picture or attachment still doesn't work.
I tried again and get the following message:
An Error Has Occurred!
Cannot access attachments upload path!
Then if I hit the back button it says I've already posted, but if I go back to the thread there is no post at all.

If you guys aren't using a hosting site, how are you trying to post pictures? I didn't know there was another way.

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that this site does not store any large images posted here. To do so could require a large amount of storage to allow unlimited posting.
Instead, I think they just carry the link to where the image is stored and load it as needed..
Anyone know for sure??

When posting a reply, look down under the text box and there is a "+" box next to the words "Attachments and other options" which opens a menu.
You can attach files and photos as a download straight from your device as long as they are under 300kb in file size. It's always been easier to do it that way than using a host site for small photos.

I just tried it and it didn't work with a photo in my file.

When I download pictures I save them to my pictures folder, attach them like PegLeg said, and more often than not delete the picture from my computer. I'll give it another try.
Nope. It's still not working.

I just tried again and still can't upload pics from my computer. Anyone else having better luck?

Hmm...are you trying to load it from a location that is not permanently attached to your computer? Such as a USB drive or networked drive?

Might be a problem with how the path is built/interrupted.
"DOS" paths are limited in characters and length of path items. Window path is not.
The new system might be getting "confused" in that.
If you want to test this, place the picture in the root directory of your C: drive and try loading from there. That path is simple enough so that nothing should have a problem with it.

Try to put the path inside of quotation marks. I.E. C:\user\jim\pictures\pic.jpg"
Also dos and windows 10 can only handle a path that is less than 254 characters long so if you have your pics buried deep in folders that might be the issue.
Just an idea.

Tried straight off the C: drive and still won't load. Something in the language is blocking access to the pathway on this end.
Also, I've noticed when getting the failure message, it offers the option to go "back" to the post but is I hot the back post it says it can't go back because the post has already been posted....but, if I go back to the thread it hasn't posted.

I tried changing my profile pic and that's still not working for me either. I even tried changing my signature and that didn't work.
When the going gets tough,
the forum closes down.
