Title: Elcan Specter DR 1-4X

Anyone got an experience with this- http://www.mountsplus.com/AR-15_Accessories/AR-15_Scope_Rings/ATI-ELCAN-DFOV14-C1.html, I was thinking of buying this as a gift to myself. I know It's a bit pricey, but if it works well and good I surely can live with the cost.

Over $2K for a variable power red dot?? What is it going to do that a $450.00 Aimpoint won't on a battle rifle?
