Just found out a long time friend, who I worked with but we went in 2 directions has contracted a very aggressive form of Leukemia, the doctors are predicting 26 days in ICU. Looks bleak, but prayer never hurts.
His name, Steve Webb... He is my age, 51 or so, has a wife and 2 grown children. Please include him in your prayers, for the next however many days.
Thank you all.

A prayer for your friend Ben.
Do not look forward to what may happen
tomorrow; the same everlasting Father who cares
for you today will take care of you tomorrow and
every day. Either He will shield you from suffering,
or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, then. Put aside all anxious thoughts and
imaginations, and say continually: "The Lord is my
strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him
and I am helped. He is not only with me but in me,
and I in Him."
St. Francis de Sales
Praying for him Ben, please let him know.

Update, not 26 days, he is now in the leukemia ward and out of ICU, still in the weeds, but better than before, good work guys and gals, and thank you again. PRAYER WORKS.
-
I am happy to hear that the prayer is working.
Steve Webb will be added to my list. Got to look out for fellow 51 y/o Texans.

Continuing in our prayers!

"And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he
received them, and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and
healed them that had need of healing."
LUKE 9:11
Considering the passage and verse #, prayer can heal many things, I hope it helps your friend.
