The only down side, 9Makarov.
Otherwise it's what the P-38 SHOULD  have been.

Parts guns.  Let the buyer beware it says no returns and gunsmith special.  I'd call and see if they could cull you a good one though.

Tom, is there a particular reason for the 82 over the 83, I had an 83 and loved it, they do bark a bit due to the fixed barrel, mine was very accurate and 100% reliable, it also responded well to a trigger job. There are a plethora of 83's on Gunbroker from 250.00 (kinda rough externally) to 350.00 very nice!

Not really, while the 9 Mak does have a LITTLE more oomph it isn't enough to be a deal killer, and 380 is probably easier to find in smaller shops.

There's a lot of good defensive ammo available for the .380 but not much that I've seen for the Makarov. I can only recall seeing one.

Yes, I thought of that just as I hit "post". LOL

Ammo isn't a problem if you reload, as 9x18 cases can be easily made from 9x19 cases.  I have converted hundreds.  All that is needed is the normal dies and a case trimmer.  9x18 is about 10% more powerful than .380.

I have not seen 82's much lately, just the 83. If you search for vendor "cdisales" on gunbroker he has 46 of the 83's currently listed.  He has quite a few Beretta 84's that I have been thinking of for a project.

If you're still interested, I might could have a CZ 83 I could part with.  I have a F.I.S.T. IWB holster for it as well.

Armslist isn't sure if it's a 9x18 or a bolt-action 9x19 mm.

Just got back home, with or without the holster?  FFL to FFL or another method?
