Barrel of oil
January 1, 2021 - 54.77
June 12, 2022 - 120.00

Gallon of gas
January 1, 2021 - 1.89
June 12, 2022 - 5.89

Oil 2.19 times higher
Gas 3.12 times higher

June 12, 2022 - Washington Post Editorial Board absolves Pres. Biden of all fuel inflation - It is all Putin's fault!

$120/bbl = 2.86/gallon
Refining crack spread is $0.38/gallon
That's where the bad old oil companies end.  $3.24/gallon

$5.89-$3.24 = $2.65 

Who is making a living off the $2.65 on top of crude and refining costs?  Hmmm.....
