Yessir!!  After my first heart attack I came to realize that any day on this side of the grass is a good day!!

I did have a scare yesterday morning, though.  WHen I woke up I thought I must've died in my sleep, cuz nothing ached!

Congrats Tom!  One way to keep from having #2 is read the Classic Joke thread.  Laughs are good for you!

Enjoy

Richard

PS:  Stay away from AARP...they are anti-gun!

It's always the last thread I read before I log off, because I agree with you.
And as for AARP, I've been telling My Dad that for years but the evil stepmother keeps renewing her membership.  ;(

Happy Birthday Tom, I've been getting AARP stuff for a year, they are anti gun, so I have not joined, I've been 50 since last May. My boss who is 6 months ahead of me, joined vigorously, and enjoys the discounts. Maybe a new thread, do We drink the coolaid? And enjoy the benefits? Or Say Hell no, and and try to change the AARP's position, without being a member, or join and try to change it from that position??????????????

I was wondering the same thing. When I hit 50 do I join and give them my opinion, or not join at all?

Not join and tell them why. Then if they KEEP sending us stuff, use the postage paid envelopes to send it back.
Haz, One HA was enough. ;D

I want to thank all my friends for the kind birthday wishes. Lets see what (or who) we can stir up next year.  ;D

I see Ksail has one coming up too.  ;D

Happy Birthday Tom !

I joined AARP for me and the wifey just the other week. I hate that their anti-gun but thought now that I'm a member I'll start writing them letters and emails.  Now if we could turn them around that would be a huge win !

Happy birthday Tom. Have many more.

Been sending stuff back to the AARP for years. I usually omit the stuff with my names so they can't trace it back to me, but if I have any other junk mail, I usually stuff it in the envelope too.

Happy 1/2 century Tom?  I apologize for my tardiness. I was stuck out in TAB country on business. Barely made it out with my common sense...
