Title: Armscor .22 ammo
Post by: brushmore on August 22, 2014, 01:40:19 PM
A couple of weeks ago MB posted a link on his blog for .22lr ammo from Armscor at a non-completely screw you over price.  Since I haven't seen a brick of .22 in ages around here I figured I give it a try and see how it shoots.  I normally shoot/plink with Federal ammo and this stuff seems just as good.  The only downside is that it's completely wax coated and your fingers end up feeling all waxy after handling it.  I ran a box through my Beretta Neos and not a single misfire or jam (Can't always say that with the cheap Remington or Winchester .22lr ammo).  I also tried it with my Dad's old Anschutz target rifle and I found it just as accurate as my dedicated Remington target ammo.  No flyers.  One cool thing is that each box has a target on the inside.  Attached is picture of it with 5 rounds at 50 feet with the Anschutz, I think I can live with that.  Looks like I'll be buying a case of this stuff when I see it at a reasonable price.

Are they making it in the PI or at their US factory ?

The stuff I got was made in PI.
