Title: Old Hunting Pictures....
Post by: Teresa Heilevang on February 10, 2009, 07:32:01 PM
Okay.. this is a new way to show you all some old pictures I have had sent to me.
I have several batches of different things.. but these are Old Hunting Pictures.

These were actually sent to me from our very own m25operator.
( I hope he doesn't mind if I share them)
They are just so great. I took into detail each and every one of them. More things to look at than just the nice game that they bagged,  in these old photos .

You can touch your mouse at the bottom of the picture and change the amount of seconds that you want to look at each one. it is set to 5 seconds ..but you can move the slider to whatever you want. also you can click on to go to the previous one or the next one.

Like I said ..this is the first time I have used this .. ( wanted to add music to it, but doesn't seem to offer that feature) so let me know if it worked okay for you and if you like it done this way..

Okay.... I just looked at it.. and I am not too thrilled with the program. it doesn't show all the picture >:( and it is too small and the panning is all wrong in accordance with the pic.
I will keep it up here.. but I'm going to try to find something better to use.
Crap!!

It starts automatically so you will have to start it over to see all of the pictures from the beginning.

Marshal fixed it!
Now it works like I wanted it too. ;D

You are welcome... :)  I thought they were so cool...

 NO it isn't....................... >:( :'(
The damned thing starts automatically and it isn't supposed to..
I have the guru on it now..
He told me a minute ago he didn't think he could change it...... :-\

( Might have to promise him some extra treats if he keeps trying)  ;)

PS~~ Don't you guys just love me talking out loud to myself on this? Sorry.. don't mean to write a diary on this.. but it is just that I wanted to be able to use this software on other pictures I have... and I just am not crazy about it... >:(

Now you know what it sounds like when Marshal and I work on videos etc.. except it is back and forth comments and frustrations and 'naughty words".
 ;D

Makes you wonder if camo is really a necessity

Saw a Roy Rogers movie one time where some poachers were shooting deer on his ranch.  Roy was understandably pissed.  But as it turned out, he was not pissed because they were poaching, he was pissed because they wore "camouflaged clothing and used scoped rifles."  Can you imagine anyone sinister, sneaky, and downright mean enough to wear camo and use a scope.  By God, Roy should have hanged them on the spot.

Good to see all the Remington Model 8s! It was a great old gun in its day. It is a bit too heavy for today's hunters I guess.
