I?ve been build 80% glocks of late. All but one have been 100% reliable. I put together a Subcompact 9mm G26. The mag well just doesn?t seem to be in spec. The mags wiggle side to side a bit more than I?d like. My OE G26 is tighter all the way around, no wiggle at all. I?m experiencing ftf. Has anyone come across this and if so is there a remedy?

Have the magazines been tested to see if they fit/perform in a production gun?

I?ve checked with my OE Glock 26 and no issues with mag fit or function. I contacted polymer 80 to see what they say.

A thought...not a solution....
My Glock mags are firmly grasped by the Mag Well while there are rounds in the magazine...but drop free when empty and the release is pressed...
Which indicates rounds in the magazine very slightly expand it's dimensions.
So, the well should be made for a "loose" fit with an empty mag and a "tight" fit with a loaded one.
I wonder if they used a full mag to make the loose well dimension rather than an empty one?

Wrap tape around your mags. Problem solved. ;D
It should actually work. I would use electrical tape that just happens to be black and probably matches your gun. If the mag wiggles at the bottom, tape the bottom to tighten it up. If the top wiggles too, tape it up toward the top. 90% of all firearms malfunctions are tape related. ;)
