Racist as hell, yes. Will the guy get fired, probably. But as a Libertarian, this white boy also has an instinct to run from the cops, just probably not as well. ;D

FQ You put the "Lib" in libertarian. There isn't anything "Racist" about it. Those little " " marks, and the phrase "said the senior tailback" mean that this was said by the guy who made the run, not made up by the writer, it's called a quote.
SHEESH, I guess History and Spelling weren't the only subjects your college hosed you on. You should REALLY get your money back.

Tom either my sense of humor needs a tuneup or yours does, because my post was intended to a joke. Irony and all that. I've got no problem with what the guy said and no patience for PC crap. The only time I get pissed at racist language is when its either meant to wound, or it hurts the 2A cause. Believe me, I'm from the South, if I got my shorts in a wad over any un PC comment I wouldn't be speaking to half of my family. Its all good, chill.

You should still sue to get your money back.
If they offer to settle for 10% to avoid bad publicity you could get an AK and a couple cases of ammo.

I could buy a lot more than that, sad to say. The thing about racist language, as TW said, is that its meaning is all dependent on what the audience HEARS, not what you meant. Its like my post. I meant it as a joke on myself, saying that even white guys can be inclined to run from the cops. You took it as me being all PC. Not my intent, but what you heard. Same with TW, a black guy can use the N word jokingly, I can't, even if I mean no more harm than him. My lesson learned from all this, don't go there if you don't have to. Why borrow trouble? Words are only good (politically or socially) if they help you gain support. Why choose words that will alienate folks unneccesarily? That isn't PC, its just thinking tactically.
