Yep, I was out with the wife and kids today...... saw a guy who was playing with his little 2 year old... he was lifting him up and down over his head... his shirt rode up too high and I was able to clearly see his pistol holstered OWB at the 2 o'clock position.
I had a nice little chuckle about it and then I leaned over and pointed it out to my wife. She said, "Well, it makes me feel good to know somebody's got our back."
:)
-
I may have sauntered on over and pointed it out to him so he doesn't get reported by some anti.
-
my exp is most people have no idea what concealed actually means. I tend to notice small details.
-
There were a bunch of others around, and no one batted an eye. He was very well concealed when he was not reaching over his head.

UPDATE: HA-HA! I "made" another guy at Target last night
I saw a guy who had an unusual buldge in his front pocket.... I got over to where I could actually see down into his pocket and.... yep.... just as I thought.... he had a sub-compact Glock in his pocket. Once again, I had a nice little chuckle about it and pointed it out to my wife.... She said, "So what, you do too."
*This is starting to become a very fun game!

You had to see it coming. ;)
And, for what it's worth, looks like so far you've got off easy. ;D ;D
I guess 'cause it's Christmas.

I "made" a guy today
OK, made him what?
Lunch?
;D ;D ;D ;D
-
it might have been a lump of coal in his pocket that's all Obama is going to leave us :'(
-
:) "Is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?"
-
(WTF) Some of you are taking this into a dark no no place. He is not playing pick up the soap................. :o

UPDATE: HA-HA! Got another one today.
Well, I was at the grocery store today....... and although I didnt actually see the guy's gun it was pretty darn obvious what he probably had under the oversized sweatshirt. The fullsize double mag pouch on his belt along with his tactical flashlight on said belt, and the tactical folder in his pocket made it pretty clear..... and no, he was not a cop.
*This is a very fun game.

I'll be impressed when you can start telling us WHAT they're carrying. "Now see that bulge?, Definately a glock, if it was hung a little lower, mabe a 1911, but its too thick, so its got to be a double stack"...sound of fist impacting jaw, "No man, I was just looking at the gun! You've got it all wrong, honest". ;D ;D
FQ13 who does not want to explain to the GF why he is scanning other guys armpits, crotches and ankles. ;)
-
I just look for the hat that says "Caspian Arms" (saw one yesterday, in the Post Office ;D )
-
The other day I saw 2 guys get out of a truck and head into the mall and neither one were trying to even remotely hide the fact that they were carrying.
One had a 1911 in a belt-slide and the other had what looked like a large-frame Sig (Older 220). They had denim jackets that didn't cover the guns at all and one even had the bottom of the jacket tucked behind the butt of the gun.
It's not a big issue in GA, but I still don't care for everyone knowing I have a gun on unless it is needed.
-
We don't have much legal concealed carry here in CA, but when I worked in the grocery store, I used to spot them all of the time. Especially when people go for their wallet. I've seen a few at the very anti disneyland too - some obvious cops and others not. Disney doesn't even want cops carrying in the park. What better place to run into some loser you've arrested a few times?
-
I thought I had made a guy once. His shirt was open and you could clearly see his SIG 226, then he turned around and had a Dallas Police badge hanging around his neck. ;D

I was in Wichita right before Christmas without Marshal and I had bought him one of those big red tool chest things on wheels... well.. I was trying ..by myself...to get the damned huge box off the floor and onto my flat cart ( which was moving on me) I was struggling..
Had a short cowboy fringe coat on with a sweater under that.. my gun was hooked on my belt ( left side cause I cross draw) Finally a great guy walked by and offered to help me. .I gladly and graciously accepted.. as soon as he and I got it on the cart.. he leaned over and in a quiet voice said " Your coat is hooked on your firearm"...
I smiled and quietly said.. "Thanks.. I appreciate that..and the help"..
I'm usually very careful when I reach up or have to carry stuff out...
Was in Wichita today with my 80 yr old mother.. we went to 2 movies and to lunch.. supper and some shopping ( I have a very very spry cool mom) ;D
When we were walking in to restaurant for lunch she ask me if I had my gun in my purse. I told her no.. I had it on me..
she said.."really?? I don't see it.. but I'm glad because I sure feel safe when I'm with you".. :)

Here in KY open carry is becoming more and more popular, and it is fun to follow around the open carriers and watch all the sheeps reaction when they see guns in public. So far I have learned to do a very good job at concealing my own weapon.

I bet that is entertaining

yeah sounds like fun ::).... .. to follow sheep trying to see their little pistols... ( I thought they only did that in the "Deliverance part of Norway")

Does a guy wearing an LCP hat count? ;D
-
I was kicking in some carpet in a house one time (When I first started carrying), and my shirt flew up and showed my Ruger P90. My dad said "You need longer shirts boy!" The homeowner had to have seen it, and didn't react. Just smiled. Maybe she was just used to them, because she had told me she used to be a police officer in Puerto Rico.
-
Have you spotted anyone wearing Thunderwear? I think nobody can make it... well, unless you say ouch when you sit down. ;D

They make a hat that holds an LCP? =)))

Its the new RHP ------> Ruger Hat Pistol ;D

The only time I was "made" was when a guy walked over at a Chinese takeout and asked me if I liked Sigs.
I was sort of confused until I realized I was wearing a Sig Academy hat.
I quit wearing gun stuff after that except for range days.

I may have told this one, but the only time I was made, except for the grabby waitress, was my own damn fault :-[
I have an Uncle Mike's IWB for my J-Frame, and it fits real nice in the shaft of my boot. I wear it on the inside of the left boot under my dress slacks and suits. I made a simple velcro retention strap, but need to work on my sewing ... I was at a gun shop in the Cities and knelt down on my left knee to look at a SureFire in a case. I knew it by the feel before anyone saw it, but the little blue baby came rolling out of the holster. Before I could get control of it it was on the floor next to my boot :-[ I was sure someone saw, but no one said anything or reacted in any way ... Until I was checking out, and the guy that had helped me with a few things asked if I needed anything else ... Like maybe a nice holster :-[
We had a good chuckle as I pulled it out, and we discussed the situation. He didn't have any thing other than a leg band holster, but did find a $125 leather one in a catalog that would be great if I ever hit the Powerball.
