Anyone have a good recomendation for IWB holster for an HK P2000? (I am also left handed)
Also, has anyone used a safe packer for this gun? I tried emailing and calling the company to ask which model is appropriate but have not received any response. It makes me a little dissapointed in their customer service. Has anyone else had any experience with the safe packer company?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to HK ownership. They really do not like the civilian market. HK's attitude is generally described as "we hate you, you suck!" to the civilians. Too bad, damn nice weapons.
Lastly, swing on over to the new member thread and introduce yourself. Always happy to have a new member of Banes World.

My recommendation would be to start with Andy. You can go to his info on here and private message him. If he can't help you, here is what I have, but I would suggest you contact the company to make sure:

This is the holster I use for my 1911 Gov., and I love it (I bought this before I learned of Andy, so I did not compare him). Bianchi makes holsters with the H&K P2000 listed, and they state you use a size 12. The Covert Option does not list the H&K P2000, but it does come in a size 12. You can look through all their products, and you can always contact them about fit for different products in the same size.
However, based on photos posted and comments from other forum members that have purchased from Andy, I'd recommend giving him a serious look. He's on my list for one coming up once I determine exactly what I want (I'm going for a custom carry for my back up gun and ammo).

Thanks for the tip. To be honest I did not know much about the company's attitude towards civilians when I bought the pistol.
Eventhough HK may not like civilians they do seem to understand that there are left handed shooters, which is more than can be said for many of the other manufacturers.

If you are looking for an IWb holster I have to recommend Tucker Gun Leather, specifically their "Silent Thunder." It is leather lined kydex which, IMHO, combines the best of both worlds. You wont be disappointed.

Dillon Precision stocks the Safepacker...check them out online www.bluepress.com or check out Wliderness Tactical site. Dillon lists the guns which fit the different sizes and WT should too. As for holster, I suggest you check out www.fist-inc.com They make a quality holster and make it your way (pretty much) if they don't already. I have one of their holsters and it is top shelf.

Welcome jeffr, as a fellow left handed shooter, I have adapted, ambi safety installed for my 1911 but still have to adapt to the slide stop, but did find great success from the S&W M+P .40, which is great for me; finally, some pistol manufacturers are realizing that.
HK's have always been top shelf, tried and true, as long as nothing ever goes wrong with it, it's a rare occurrence, but their market is large LEO, International Military Contracts. So as citizen consumers, we are just at the end of the line.
For IWB holsters.

For my M+P, when it's not 90 degrees, I have the Infidel model. Seemed appropriate.. 8) Sits low enough to conceal under a button down short sleeve shirt and still sit and drive comfortably, and angled enough to make drawing a natural grasping motion.
I wear mine alittle further back like between 7 + 8:00 position. Your mileage may vary.

I love my Safepacker. You can find the right size for the P2000 on midwayusa.com. It does make you look like you've got a man purse (especially with the shoulder strap), but no one has a clue you've got a gun.
