GUNS & AMMO has an article in the rifle as an alternative to the AR platform.
Article says it is a winner.

I just read that article the other day... I had to chuckle at how they gushed on and on about how it was such an innovative new take on the .223 (vs the standard old AR platform).....and how the Benelli designers must have been at the top of their creative game when they came up with this one....... Not once in the entire article did the words Beretta or RX4 even show up

As much as I like Benelli (even though they come from the land of the worthless), problems I see with the rifle are primarily the caliber is best for prarie dogs, the charging handle belongs on the left side, & from my experience with my SuperNova it looks like the rifle has the same stock. That's a good thing because it's comftorble, light, ridgid, & hollow, so it can hold stuff as big as shotgun shells, AA batteries, cleaning kits, whatever, just by popping off the recoil pad. NICE! The bad thing is that because the pistol grip goes under the trigger assembly a little you have to remove the whole stock to field strip the gun. To get the stock off you need a socket set with an extension (at least 3"), and a deep well 12mm, or 1/2" socket. STINKS!!! It's tight in there, and nothing other than these exact tools will do the job. :(
My only other gripe would be that the camo coating Benelli uses can be scratched off WAY to easy! The least little contact with anything harder than a finger nail, and you'll go right through it. They need to find out what Remington is using for coatings.

any .223 that cost more than 800.00 is a waste of money for that puney round. Its at best a weak carbine round that is only good for entry teams or 50 yds and under confrontations. Cant they make a substantial round that is good all around. ? A 545x39 is as good and a .308 is better at distance and a 762x39 is better at 200 and in. So why the .223? It was invented to allow troops to carry a light rifle with light battle paclk of ammo. Now the M4 is 13 lbs and has evolved into a POS.

Benelli makes a great shot gun, they need to stick to what they do best; I read the story and I think they went overboard on there praise. They are trying to re-invent the wheel with a few tweeks on the AR platform and a hodge podge of rearrangements. Winner or loser, only time will tell!!!!

They are well trained by their advertisers.
