Series 80 Colt Combat Commander, nickel finish. Practically unfired......
$650.
Deal or no deal?
-
I'd say deal...
-
I just bought this unfired stainless Combat Commander from a guy on another board for $740. So I'd say deal.
BTW, it's a good pistol...shoots point of aim and is reasonably accurate. I had 2 minor FTF (corrected by slight push on slide) with SWC...other than that, it has fed ball, JHP and SWC flawlessly for 300 rounds. I put a lighter hammer spring in to bring the trigger down from about 7-8 lbs to around 6. Nice crisp let off. I'm happy so far and I really like the Commander length format.

I don't really need the combat commander.... but when has that ever been a valid reason to not buy a gun?

I don't really need the combat commander....
Then buy a rifle or a shotgun! :)
-
Buy all three.

DEAL to the unfired commander
-
It's been fired, just not very much.
What I need to do now if prioritize this on the list among the 6.8mm upper for my AR, and .22LR kits for my gov't 1911, GLOCK-something, and AR.
Oh, and LaserGrips for my S&W Airweight.... And money to bribe Ciener to make a .22 conversion for my XD45.... And XS sights for the... (sigh) Anyone know the winning lottery numbers for this coming drawing?

If you don't want the Colt, can I buy it? :)

I say DEAL.
