I'll be co-hosting the Armed American Radio show tonight from 8-11, EST.
www.armedamericanradio.org (http://www.armedamericanradio.org).
We'll be discussing preparation for violent home invasions and listening to a couple of 911 calls... one "good"... one "bad".
Mike Janich will join us, as will as spokesperson from the leading organization pushing concealed carry on college campuses and the ORIGINAL gun-blogger, George Hill will be on to discuss several things.. including his starring role in a local production of the holiday classic: The Nutcracker.

Great show Rob and Michael. I tell you what.....the 911 call with that poor disabled woman confined to her couch was easily one of the most terrifying things I've ever heard. Having several big dogs myself, and hearing that this woman's big dog barking madly didn't make the slightest bit of difference to this intruder, bothers me.

Always the curious cat,....with firearms to boot,... Neighborhood Watch takes on a whole new meaning on your street. ;)
Like Clint Eastwood in "Gran Torino"... 8)

Very lucky woman. Thankfully she at least called 911, I'm sure the LEO's would have rather she had a gun and killed that SOB, but they came and saved her life, and that is what matters.
She may need meaner dogs.

Should of never had to cuff the P.O.S! That S.O.B. should of been put into multiple Bod'Bags.
Hack twuee on the lowlife and everyone that loved or was kind to him.
'
This is why every person should be armed 24-7.
Also this MF'er the reason to carry a reload.
I will also make a case with any professional to argue the first shot not to be center mass, but rather a pelvic girdle. There are 4 or5 serious benefits to this method, just and opinion. But I will have to differ to Mr. Pincus and Mr. Janich.
