Title: Obama giving a butt chewing ...
Post by: MikeBjerum on December 14, 2009, 09:16:24 AM
I have been listening to radio reports for two days on the "big meeting" today where the President is going to give a big butt chewing to banking officials for their attitudes, abuses and greed in using their bailout money for bonuses, big salaries and other luxuries.
Pot ... Meet Kettle
Who is this nit wit that he thinks he is in a position to be correcting anyone on preceived or actual ethics?
Another of his demands is going to be that they free up more money to bail out and start small business, secure and save homes and other loans from foreclosure ??? Aren't these the same demands from a previous administration that got us in this situation? Did Bill have Hillary plant a player under BHO's pillow giving subliminal messages ... loan to those that shouldn't be loaned to ... loan to those that shouldn't be loaned to ... loan to those that shouldn't be loaned to ...

"I Did Not Run for Office to Be Helping Out a Bunch of Fat Cat Bankers on Wall Street"
Pay czar hopes salary restrictions "Will set the standard for US compensation practices" http://michellemalkin.com/2009/12/11/scrooge-pay-czar-tightens-screws-on-midlevel-employees/
*I will also say again, I have yet to hear Obama say that he is willing to forfeit his salary for the greater good.

An answer to his comments on bankers and wall street - They have learned to do what everyone of BHO's voter base has done for years - Live off the goverment dole. If it is good for millions of lazy ass multi-generational welfare recipients and millions of illegal allians, and good for countries all over the world with their hands out while we are borrowing to give and sacrificing our young men and women to help them, why isn't it good for the intelligent and hard working?
Mr. President - You can't throw money around like candy in a parade and then complain about who picks it up!

There's a good reason why I didn't climb very high up the corporate ladder. I tend to say what I think just a little too often. If I had been a bank CEO in that "summit" I probably would have said at some point:
Quote
"Who do you think you are? You are JUST the President of the US. A TEMPORARY honor granted by the citizen's of this great nation. If this republic lasts much longer, you will only be remembered for your mere 4 (or 8 years) in office because of the color of your skin, not because of much else that you did while being allowed the privilege of sitting in the Oval office."

Once again, don't listen to what he says, watch what he DOES. The facts are that his administration gave piles of money to the "fat cats" with few stings attached. The guy who has risen to GM CEO was responsible for helping one of Obamas top three advisors make 16 million on a business deal. A large percentage of his financial advisers are from Goldman Sachs and otrher "fat cat" entities. I have complete faith that he is going to stand up for us regular folk and straighten those fat cats out. Just wait and see....but don't hold your breath.
