 We need more like Col West, who was forced to retire for firing a bullet past a terrorists ear during a field interrogation. That action resulted in information the prevented the injury of troops under his command.
Maybe HE is the leader some of us have been looking for.

I watched a few more videos of Lt. Colonel Allen West on YouTube and he seems to be exactly what I want in a congressman/senator.  But no, I get Franken.

Lt. Colonel,.... the last rank that reminds you of a "real" combat working officer that remembers his troops names, busts his butt to protect and train them, chews the same dirt and grit that they do, and never forgets.

Maybe this would be a better direction for this country also.

Just remember, Scum sucker John "Abscam" Murtha  was a Marine officer.  It's the PRINCIPLES that count.

I think most of the Marines ( and most Americans),  would acknowledge the scum sucker for what he truly is.

Maybe Pennsylvania will realize this when they fly in or out of his airport...wait,...they only have 4 or 5 flights a day,..Plenty of room..

I heard Col. West on Laura Ingram this morning. MOST impressive. He Talked about the incident involving his "interrogation" of the Iraqi Al Quada sympathiser. He said, and I agree, that if his opponent brought it up as a campaign issue, he (Col. West) would benefit.

 He made a decision with out listening to his advisers for 6 months acted on it and accepted the consequences.
How is that BAD for a candidate ?
His opponent would be wise to avoid THAT subject like the plague.
