Finally starting to be some of this in the pipeline...$479 delivered for 1,000 rounds packed loose at Ammoman. I saw $600 plus at Cheaper than dirt and higher still other places.
Anybody see Lake City any cheaper right now?

It's not Lake City mind you, but Classic Arms has about the best deal going right now on .223 / 5.56 MM.

1,000 rounds of M-193 for $349.95 mounted on hermetically sealed stripper clips of 10 rounds each. Their website is one very long scroll. If you go about 2/3rds of the way down, you'll see it. They also have 1,000 rounds of M-855 loose boxed for $424.95. It's manufactured by ADCOM in the U.A.E. Not exactly my favorite place in the world, but the price is fantastic. They even have a video of this ammo being shot in various weapons, and it shows it to be very clean, dependable, and accurate. I'm good at the moment on .223, but if I wasn't I would definitely jump on it. Bill T.

Good site Billt. Anybody here got comments on the quality of ADCOM ammo from actual experience. It's looking like a buy to me.

I can speak somewhat from a "second hand point of view". One of the guys at our club went in with another guy on a case of the stuff, and said he really liked it. He did mention he thought it shot "a little soft". I'm assuming he meant it wasn't very hot. Again this is a second hand opinion. If the stuff is loaded to Mil-Spec, I'm guessing it will shoot OK in any good running AR-15. Bill T.

This is a link to some .223 at a good price from J&G Sales up in Prescott, Arizona. I purchased several AK-47's from them, and they are good to deal with. Just to add another option for guys looking for a good deal on .223. Bill T.
