Ok, boys and girls, what do you think and why?

Worst for 10 reasons:
1. Passage of the ram-rod healthcare bill will give the democrats more gall than ever.  More anti-freedom laws to follow....
2. The Republicans will just assume everyone want to vote them in...they will not win big because most will be standing around waiting for things to happen.  Hence, democrats getting bigger balls to ban guns.
3. Ammo availability will start to plummet again....face it, the ammo mfgs want a tight supply...don't look to them for relief.
4. I foresee may gun mfgs going out of business due to a drop in sales, cause by unavailable and expensive ammo market and overstocking of parts, guns, ect.
5. The save-the-planet Greenie-Weenies will pass their treaties and you will have to do exactly as every socialist says, otherwise you will be accused of trying to blow up the planet.
6. US dollar will plummet in value.  China will demand Alaska as payment of US debt obligations.
7. Unemployment to hit 17% by end 2010. Real unemployment to hit 25%

The S will HTF because Dems who voted for the massively unpopular Obamacare know they have nothing left to lose and will try to ram through all sorts of nanny state socialist BS possibly including gun bans.

TS will HTF...  Though the prior election cycle pretty much destroyed my faith in the wisdom of the American voter, I think the Dummycraps have angered enough of Middle and Southern America that the pot is about to boil over.  I see increasingly vitriolic debate as the Dumbs try to grow government and finally either a revolution in the voting booth or blood shed on the streets.  Either or both may be too late to save the America I fought for as a young man.  But, I still cling to the belief there are enough true patriots to make the attempt at salvage.  I pray I am not going to be disappointed because I have a grandson who will grow up in the mess we've made.

And that leads me to my only New Year's resolution:  to spend time in daily, thoughtful prayer for my country, my family, and my fellow patriots.  May God have mercy on us all.

We need to influence PEOPLE (voters) Shea-Porter and Shaheen know my e mail address as well as I do I've written them so many times and it has no effect. The Dumbs are following the lead of the other nanny states and spending the state into the hole.

The dems now have control and you are now going to get it with both barrels.

Just say NO to Socialism !
And back it up with a 12 ga.  ;D

Alright, I'll be the cocked and locked, stockpiling anyway, optimist.

I cannot forsee the short or even mid term 2010 getting better, and I'll concede it may get even worse. If (and that's a big if), the 2010 elections arrive without riots and gloom and doom martial law in certain cities, we might (and that's a big might) pull out of this with nothing more than a lame duck POTUS, and a stagnant Congress, (which is about normal anyway).

That would be better than having a majority party and POTUS that have the ability to ram and cram anti-American socialist, tyrannical, nanny, entitlement legislation through, including AWB's, foreign ammo tariff taxes, let alone crap & tax, etc,.....

Still hoping the light at the end of the tunnel is not a locomotive barreling at me, but (and that's a big but), if the resistance steps up to end the usurping bastards (thanks tom) reign, than I will do my duty as an American and defend the Constitution of these United States, from all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC!!!

"Arm yourselves, and be ye men of valor, and be in readiness for the conflict; for it is better for us to perish in battle than to look upon the outrage of our nation and our altar."
Sir Winston Churchill

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
John Stuart Mill

God Help And Please Bless The United States Of America.

See how optimistic I am???? ;)

"Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries BY A GOVERNMENT, which we might expect in a country WITHOUT GOVERNMENT, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer." - Thomas Paine

I have yet to see a new year dawn under calm skies...

This is an election year, society has taken a stance however I doubt that stance will stand fast under fire and when the ballot box is in front of the person and a collective thought begins to resound.

By all means prove me wrong, vote your conscience, vote your morals, but vote your collective reasoning and damn us all.

While I believe that things can get a lot worse nationally, especially if guns become part of the healthcare debates, on a local level, we have an excellent chance of electing one of 2 pro-gun Sheriff's candidates. In this may-issue state, the Sheriff gets to decide who's life is important enough to defend. We have a current She-riff who is very opposed to people carrying and 2 candidates have stated that they will treat CCW in a shall-issue manner.

At least congress might get cleaned out in the next election.

Look on the Bright side, as long as they stand fast long enough to get the firing started we can take it from there, most of the sheeple would just be getting in the way any way.    ;D

I'm an 'optimistic pessimist'.

Due to the ruckus on health care, maybe the Dems, not wanting to rock the boat too hard after the health care biz, will lay low until after the 2010 elections.

I'm really hoping that the 2010 elections will be nicknamed "The Great Toilet Paper Revolt of 2010".
I hope it's goes like one great big wad of TP, wiping the ass of the nation squeaky clean.

Happy New Year to all!!!!!!

I'm not going to make any predictions but it just might be the year (Jan or Feb) where I buy an AR and ammo even though I can't really afford it!

After listening to MB on his Podcast, I really need to consider another "Black Rifle" even if it's an entry level that can be "tweaked" or upgraded on the "Black Market" which will exist, if another AWB or cram down anti-gun legislation is passed.

Keep getting ammo when you can, box or two here and there also.

Worse !

Pelosie, Reed, and BHO will see their legislative dominance coming to an end. This will cause them to cram their legislative agenda through no matter what the cost to our country or it's people. The new National Socialism will be forced fed to America whether we want it or not.

Sorry, Peg, I had to close out this decade with him one more time.,...

The decade doesn't end until Dec. 31 2010.

I think things will be "better" in the following ways:

1. I do not see the congress or the administration pushing anything like an AWB (or PIF ban), or any other gun control laws in 2010. Unlike health care, guns have proven to be their Stalingrad and they know they will be absolutely annihilated if they try something. So I will go further and state I do not believe they will do anything until Obama's second term (if he gets one). The only hedge I will make here is if he signs some treaty or attempts to have his agencies regulate the crap out of us; we must be ever vigilant.

2. I do see health care being passed into law. Why do I think this is better? I believe this presents us with an opportunity to draw very sharp contrasts between those who are conservative and those who do not like the constitution. I see the potential for a very good dialogue to begin and continue on what is the proper role of government and the rise of the individual over the collective. It's high time we shed the old labels from the past and recast this debate into one of individual freedom and responsibility versus the collective, paternalistic policies of our enemies.

Why are they pushing socialized health care, when they know the majority of Americans do not want it? They have a belief (and I believe there is some validity to this) that once it is passed Americans will gradually embrace it. I believe this is one of the reasons they have put the time out until past 2012.

I also think that once it is passed, over the course of the next few years we will see RINOs and other so-called conservatives get behind it too- they will not repeal this. They will use the health care issue like they have used abortion and guns- wedge issues which they do not intend to do anything about.

3. We must get on offense! We need push the envelope on gun rights. With a resurgence in the belief in individual freedom and responsibility comes the opportunity to reestablish rights that have long since eroded or been eliminated. For example, open carry is a legitimate issue that needs to be pushed- nationwide. We need to reform/abolish aspects of gun laws that made legitimate firearms off limits or highly restricted.

I know it is a dark time now for us but we must resolve to fight to make this turn out the way we want it. We must start a new revolution that is founded on some very old principles. This is going to be tough but we really don't have any other viable choices other than defeat and tyranny.

May we seek God's wisdom, mercy and grace in this noble struggle for the emancipation and freedom of our nation.....

According to a CNN poll, more people are against the Obamacare Legislation, than GWB's attempt to privatize Social Security.

At this point Democrats, as MB stated better than I on his podcast, they could care less. They will fall on the sword, and wait for the cycle to come around again.

A vast majority of Republicans are just as inept and play the game just as well, and they need to go also.
