Title: Prayers Needed

My wife and I just got word that Vivian, the mother of a very close friend of ours has a serious heart problem.  There is a very strong possibility that she will have to undergo serious and life threatening surgery soon.  This is complicated by other health concerns.  We have not heard exactly what is planned because that is still being discussed.  Please add Vivian and family to our list and I will add updates as received.

No worries there Tom.  We get to begin paying for it immediately but will wait three years before it kicks in.

Norma just got word that Vivian has had successful open heart surgery (double bypass we believe).  The first 24 hours are the most nerve racking so please continue with your prayers.

Got an update on Vivian today.  She is out of the hospital and home.  She shows all the signs of someone who has recently had openheart surgery!  This is a good thing in a way and a not so good thing if left alone.  I have first hand experience because my wife went thru OH herself.  Takes a little patience and nagging on the partners part but things usually work out for the best.  Her daughter is concerned and making herself sick with worry but she'll get over it.

Glad to hear she is home and recovering.
My dad and uncle both had OH surgery (a week apart) twelve years ago and it really saps the strength.

 I guess it WOULD sap your strength ! It's basically the same as the Aztec human sacrifice with out the incense and feathers.
And then they put it back and send you home.
