Just a quick testament to the continuing primer shortage... Got a product availability email at 1pm yesterday from Midway USA saying they had cci large pistol primers in stock. By the time I got home from work at 5pm (can't access Midway from the office) >:(, they were already sold out. :(
Anyone have a line on small or large pistol primers?

I was able to pick up 500 Rem 1 1/2 and 500 Fed 200 magnum at Sportsman's WHSE in Rocklin, CA today. I called before going and they said they had some on the shelf.
One sign at the store said limit 200, another sign said limit 500. I talked him into selling me 500 and my wife 500.
I was in there a couple weeks ago and they only had the fed 200 magnums and would only sell me 200.

I really hate that store, went in there once i'll never go back.

I was told that the larger volume stores (larger volume in reloading supplies) get priority with the companies. I went to Georgia's largest reloading dealer and he had plenty. Had never been totally out of anything, he said.

Lots of primers here in NE Ohio at GS's but the prices are way high still $35+. Mostly CCI but others around.

Go on Gunbroker. You can find what you need but you might pay premium, but at least you have them.

If you were in or near the St. Louis area, then I would hook you up.
Sorry. :(
