After Ruger came out with the LCR, I guess it was just a mater of time before the other revolver makers follow suite. If these designs have no major problems, S&W will probably be next.

Yes, but here is the thing..... The LCR is still the winner here because its 5 oz lighter then the Taurus Polymer .38. What Ruger did with the LCR was introduce a revolver that could compete with that scandium S&W revolver, but at a considerably lower price point. Taurus really does not have much going for it other then "flavor of the month" hype. So they got in on the polymer revolver thing...... So what? Other then being one of the first to bring one to market, how is this gonna help them sell guns? If you benchmark and fall short, you have failed.

EXIT QUESTION:
Ummmm... why does the polymer Judge weigh more then the public defender Judge (27oz vs 20.7oz) ???

EXIT QUESTION #2:
Why would anyone want a SLIM in .380 when the .40 is the exact same size and weight ???

Shooting a shotgun shell out of a composite frame pistol?

That hurts me just thinking about it.
