Title: Don't you just love it when...

Some guy asks "will this idea work?" on a DIY section of a forums.

So you go in great detail, stating laws of physics, using forumlas to calculate things to them... etc.  Show them why it won't work.

they do it anyways, then come back a while later and complain that it did not work.


I swear I'm going to just stop helping people.

Agreed!  Normally it takes too long though.  >:(

That's why one of the key conditions for being nominated for the Darwin Awards is that you cannot have reproduced. Mitigates the "too long" part.
