Received this in a Patriot Guard e-mail, and it reminded my of what others are sacrificing for me.

 This is/was a Prayer for our troops used by soldiers from Pennsylvania in WWI, it also goes back to American troops back to 1791.

Blessed is the hour in which Jesus Christ has arisen from the dead;
Blessed are these three over thy gun, no shot or ball
Shall fly toward me, and neither my skin, nor my hair,
Nor my blood, nor my flesh be injured by them,
And that no kind of weapon or metal shall do me any harm,
So surely as the Mother of God shall not bring forth another son.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, amen.
