You might want to explain these bills a bit more because I'm getting the play by play, but not the context. Still, I will say these two things. Ending birthright citizenship is not an option. Its in the 14th ammendment and just like the 1A or the 2A that's not one I will ever screw around with. There is too great a potential for mischief by the feds if its ever weakened. Secondly though, I am all in favor of returning to the immigration laws we had in the twenties which set national quotas on country of origin. I don't think it's racist to prefer someone from Australia rather than Algeria. Its just a matter of language and culture and who would best assimilate. When it comes to immigration I believe two things. First, no nation has the right (like the USSR) to stop its people from leaving if they don't like the system. Second, every nation should be free to set and enforce its own criiteria as to who they accept. No-one should have the right to bitch because if you don't like it go somewhere else. I see no need to import trouble.
