Title: AR upper recievers
Post by: tombogan03884 on February 05, 2010, 09:02:02 PM
Who has AR Uppers, complete with bolt carrier group in stock, I've checked Stag, DPMS, Spikes, RRA, Bushmaster, Olympic, and Larue's, I'm looking to spend around $500 for a flat top 16 inch 1:9 barrel, so far it's looking like  a Stag Arms from Talon arms as I do NOT want to wait 2 - 3 MONTHS for delivery.
Has any one done business with Talon ?

:o       A bit more than I wanted to pay, and quite a wait. I forgot to include them in the list

Try J&T Distributing.  I have a number of their uppers on my rifles, and I know several others that do as well.

Superior Arms in Wapello Iowa  http://www.superiorarms.com/index.php

The prices on the website seem a bit higher than what they normally sell for. FWIW

In Stock, plus a bunch of other options, or you can "build your own upper" option....

all the shops in the Seattle area have a pretty good supply too, generally flattops seem to be more in the $649 range.  No local dealers with supplies for you?

Shameful plug for my own business but I would sell you a CMMG complete upper for 500.00.  have them in stock.  PM me if you are interested.  Can also get armalite, dpms, and yankee hill machine.  Though the YHM will be a wait.  all of these are right at 500.00 for a standard 16 in set up.

Let us know your thoughts, who knows that "shameless plug" might just get him some more sales.  ;D

Now that I think about it.......I need an upper also.  ;)
