Haven't posted a Sat. Night acoustic tune for DRTV in some time. It's a different year now, and I thought perhaps a little tribute to Appalachian Heritage would get 2010 at least off to a festive start.

It's a Mountain Dulcimer. I have a Black Mountain, NC hand made McSpadden version and I met this guy in 2001 right after 9/11.
Thought I would throw it out there. Watch what happens at 57 seconds.

Have a thing called "Yankee Peddler Festival " here in NE Ohio in Sept. Several people make and sell the Ducimer (as well as play). It's fun when a group of costumed individuals get together and "Jam".
