Hello again, one and all. Haven't been around lately, short staffing at work and family issues have had me occupied. My brother's family has had my parent's life and mine in turmoil for well over two years now. Things have been worse than ever lately, since the holiday season. He is struggling with drug addiction and several mental and spiritual issues. His wife is of no help. My family has done all we can for him. The worst part is that my one-year-old nephew and my almost newborn niece are caught in the middle of the mess. Please, any help we can receive is priceless. Thank you in advance.

All of you are on the list!

May God grant his grace for your brother and wife, His protection for the little ones, and His strength for you and the rest of your family and hers.

I'm there too. I'm happy to pitch in, spiritual battles are the worst.

May God bless and keep you and your family. May He shine His light of love on your brother and sister-in-law.......on your brother to assist him in battling his demons, and on your sister-in-law to open her eyes to the fact that her husband needs her help. And finally, may God shower the little ones with His love and grace, and help them to grow up in His image, even though they have difficulties in doing so.
This is my prayer for you and your family, Fox, and I shall remember you guys each time I talk to God.
I understand how difficult this is for you, my friend. I, too, have a close relatives who surrendered himself to drugs. Sometimes it seems as if there is nothing you can do, and there really isn't.....it's up to the user to admit the problem and seek help. The hardest thing for me to do was to step back, let go and let God, but it was the only thing I could do, and thankfully this relative, with the help of God, got his life under control. I pray that your brother will do likewise.
Be well.

Fox, added to the list, which now is quite long, that is of no consequence, Let go and let God is good advice, We can't save anyone if they don't want to be saved, let God be your guide, which means at least here, you asked and many people are now praying for your family. If it does not turn out the way you see it, it is not your fault.!!! We have very little control over anyone, but we can suggest, imply, and downright tell them they are doing wrong, and if I were You meaning the person who is in need, suggest, I would do this or that to get my life back in order, may not work, but it certainly won't if nobody brings it to their attention.
Best of luck and may God bless.
