Seeing this graphic depiction simply reinforces everything we know to be true. People are hurting across the United States.  But, it does not show the numbers of Americans who have run the distance on their unemployment benefits and remain unemployed and off the charts.  The true numbers appear to be in excess of 20% throughout most of the country with pockets (like Detroit and Chicago) where the real numbers are in excess of 50-80%.

With this Marxist/Socialist/Communist/Community Activist poseur in the people's house, we have no right to expect anything to get better.  It's time for an eviction.  I want my country back. >:(

I weep for my country. :'(

And Tom and Tom in 2012 is looking better and better to me.

I guess that's one way to make every state a "blue" state.

While not his fault exactly, since this all started a couple years ago, look at how fast the numbers grew after the Jan 09 inaguration.

(Sarcasm on)

Oh, come on here.  It's Bush's fault and don't you forget it!

Of course, you can't forget it because Berry reminds us about it every day almost as many times as he refers to himself.

Sarcasm off)
Title: UNEMPLOYMENT MAP

This is really quite incredible.
A visual depiction of unemployment, by County, for the entire United States , over
the last 2.5 years. Amazing to watch and only takes a minute or so.

Click the link, and then "Play" in the center of the MAP, and watch it change by month.

It looks like my county was in the 7-9.9% class all the way up to when it hit 10% or more. It never went down.

Damn! 8 years of doing nothing, followed by 8 years of incompetence and collusion, followed by one year of utter cluelessness. All united by one one thing, an inability to see that sending jobs overseas, turning a blind eye to illegal immigration and running a massive trade deficit amounted to a very bad thing. Three Presidents, two parties, same BS. Gee, maybe a taxbreak for companies that don't out source? Closing the border? Making sure that every government purchasing office has a "buy American' policy for non-mission critical stuff might help? Better schools, better infra-structure? Stronger transparency rules for Wall Street?
FQ13 who never thought that Ross Perot's "Giant Sucking Sound" was Right on the money. Sorry Ross.

Very west edge of North Dakota, one county up from South Dakota ... Gotta move there ... It will be me, two coyotes, a rattlesnake, and a weather beaten cowboy who hasn't even heard of BHO  ;D

    This was emailed to me.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry
capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency.
It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama
presidency than to restore the necessary common sense
and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have
such a man for their president.  The problem is much deeper
and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom
of what ails us.  Blaming the prince of the fools should not
blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him
their prince.  The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is,
after all, merely a fool.  It is less likely to survive a multitude
of fools such as those who made him their president."

Ya better know how to drill for oil or have a CDL to haul water - that is why these counties have next to no unemployment.

Might want to look at a Topo map first.  Might only be 5 people in the whole area. If 4 of them worked while one goofed off half the time, you've got 10% unemployment  ;D
Then of course you want to consider place names. Places with names like "Bad Water"," Dead Mule Springs", or "Bad Lands", might inspire a little research before heading out,    ;D

Somebody has to call BS on the "While not his fault exactly,". If Obamadinga the Marxist would have moderated his spending and not micro-managed the economy we would be well on the way to recovery. The mess is entirely his doing.

Now, Tom, none of out counties have less than 10 or 15 people, so this stereotype of "Might only be 5 people" is unfair.   ;)

And the place you really need to watch out for is south of the ND border, Bumphuque, SD. I think they filmed Brokeback Mountain there.    ;D

Johnny Bravo, your quote is quite correct in my view, but being a country boy, I just see it as more folks are riding in the wagon than are willing to pull it. The men and women who won WWII and tried so hard to make life better for their posterity, may just have killed us with kindness.

Mac.

All is forgiven Path. I LMAO over that. Truth in advertising at last. How do they pronounce that? Plus, I can can just picture the high school (5 man) football team, "The Fighting Bumphuques".The cheer? "Lets Go Bumphuques, Lets Go"! ;D ;D ;D

I don't care what you say, any place with the words "bad" or "dead"in their name are going to get some research before I move there.  ;D

You should stay away from the Glades then. Lostman's River, Shark River (big and little shark), Alligator Bay, Mud River, Desolation Bay, and the list goes on. Cheerful bunch, those pioneers, including some my ancestors. The joke is that someone pretty scary must have been chasing you to get you to flee to the Glades in the days before deet, screens and A/C. 8)

I took a poll, and nine of the ten voices said "Move ... Move Now!"  Number ten said "Finish your beer and cleaning the guns, and then move."

There is also the fact that the Dems have been in charge of Congress since Jan 2007!  Sorry, all this Bush's fault is just BS!
