For those that don't know, the pink pistols are a gay gun group out of the SF bay area.

As long as it stays concealed and they support the 2A I don't care.

WOW! OK, now I have to change car insurance companies, never stay at a Hyatt hotel, clean my house and laundry with something else besides Clorox, don't wear Levi's (previous thread), and don't pay $50-100 to go see Aerosmith anymore.... :-\ No more Slurpee's at 7-Eleven..

Hanes? and Hillshire Farms, Jimmy Dean, Sara Lee??? Damn..... :-[

Sports teams?

The more important list would be PRO-GUN/ 2nd Amend. companies...

Hey that's Nancy Pelosi's hometown, she is only slightly anti gun right??? ;)

Pink Pistols was the group that NRA and SAF worked with to defeat the "Gun's in Public Housing ban" that they imposed.

I like the idea of a pro-gun list.

Silver Dollar City...OK..I hate that.  But they do sell black powder handguns and rifles on the premises.  At least they sold them two years a go.

For once I agree with both Rastus and Tom in one thread. :o I am not a fan of boycotts and think that in most (though not all circumstances) they are a waste of time. I will continue to wear Levis if they are cheap as I think my lack of patronage would be about as effective as me boycotting Wall Mart. They are trembling in fear as I type this. On the other hand, as I've said many times, if you are about what you are for rather than what you are against, you can make a difference. Give me a good PRO-GUN company, and if I need and can afford their product, they have a customer for life. I think its a lot more effective and constructive to tell someone "I'm buying from you rather than your competitor because of this policy", than it is to say "You're a big jerk, I'm never shopping here again". Witness the 6 bucks thread. I haven't been to a starbucks in years because I don't like their coffee. Yesterday it was cold and I had a sweet tooth and so I bought a mocha. I told them why. Thats money banked rather than a hypothetical loss. It means more. Its why companies like Patagonia bend over bckwards to go green, they want people to buy the ideology, not just the product as it differentiates the brand. Make a point of being 2A and we'll buy your stuff as long as its well made. A loyal customer is worth ten boycotters who may or may not have bought it anyway.

Did you mean "companies"?  Even you, Marshal'ette?   :'(

Back on track:  I notice that a lot of those anti-gun actors make a lot of money using guns in the movies or on TV.  If they're so serious about the cause, maybe they should stop being hypocrites and not take those roles.  Just a thought.

And what's up with Starbucks, playing both sides?

On the actor front, only the McGyver guy put his money where his mouth was. Anti as hell, but he did the job with  bottle of bleach, a box of bisquick and a pack of chicklets. (In retrospect, not so different from the A-team. "Attempted murder your honor? They fired 8 thousand rounds and hit nothing! If they were halfway trying they would have shot at least one guy! Lets call it aggravated assault.") ;D ) Granted, he now shoots aliens with a P-90 (about all its good for), but hey, they're aliens. The rest can KMA.

Lot of hypocrites on the 'actors' list.......totally against guns........but it is OK to use them to make a little money in a film from time to time.

Hmmmm..........

BASTARDS!   >:(

well actors are just illustrating through their "story telling" of how bad it is with everyone running around with guns...after all, they just portray "society as it exists"  ;D

I heartily agree on the support people on the positive side, yes, Starbucks may be playing both sides but if they get more positive momentum for the current open carry than negative they will support it...they are all just profit oriented companies.  Heck there are gun companies that are a bit questionable at times about whether the public should own any of the guns they make.

The ACLU. What a bunch of total hypocrites. They cry and whine when someone gets their First Amendment rights crapped on, but want to abolish the Second. They remind me of NOW. They let anyone and everyone trash Sarah Palin and say nothing in her defense. But as soon as some whacked out liberal woman gets dumped on, they're all over it like flies on dog crap. They should change their name to NOLW. National Organization of Liberal Women. Hypocrites all. I have zero use or respect for any of these people.  Bill T.

Actually the ACLU (or at least some local chapters) seem to be coming around on the 2A. Don't write them off yet. There is still hope.

They are so far in the hole, it might take years to climb out.  Perhaps I'll bite when they have a Wilson Combat pistol giveaway on their web site.

So what?  ANYONE that takes responsibility for their own life needs to be respected and lifted up as a good thing in 21st Century America

Actually that seems to be the bigger issue.  There is a HUGE disconnect in a lot of large organizations from the local level to "corporate/national."  Look at AARP and what happened when national backed Obummer health care.  FoP leadership backed the AWB and the rank and file almost revolted.  The NRA has at times gone a little more than the membership wanted.

Must have been a mistake somewhere, Joe Perry was in a recent issue of "Outdoor Life"  talking about he loved to hunt and shoot.  If I'm not crazy he said he had an extensive gun collection and he also mentioned that Steven Tyler was a great shot and they enjoyed shooting together.  I like Aerosmith, but I'm not a huge fan by any means... just thought I'd chime in before they were branded as "evil" by the shooting community.

I did not tear up my AARP membership when I heard about their support of the anti gun people, and liberals in general. Instead I use it even more, then take the money I save on car insurance and other discounts, and send the cash equivalent to the NRA-ILA. That way I'm helping myself, and at the same time helping them cut their own throats. Works out quite well actually.  Bill T.

Wow, that's a twisted logic.  ;D not that the logic doesn't work but it is too funny

Its like my very Libertarian friend who works as a federal PD. When asked to justify taking a federal check, she will respond one of two ways. In a good mood, its "Tax reclamation". In a bad mood its "Gee thanks for the shiny grenade, here, catch". ;D  The girl does not like the government.
