WOW, I have to say thanks for that CJ. That was very well spoken! I don't think I can disagree with him either.

You can partly disagree. On the whole I was impressed. However, if it comes to a trial, its a high stakes gamble, and if he's acquitted, he's acquitted and we have to live with that. If we don't, we can kiss the credibility of our justice system goodbye. It doesn't matter where or how he was caught, the courts don't care about that. However the Miranda and torture issues are huge. There has to be enough evidence (like physical evidence) to convict wthout ever introducing a word he said, or the fruits of those words. If we've got that, let the trial go forward. If not, well, not my fault the crazy bastard escaped and tried to swim home. Why did Ashcroft announce his arrest again? Had he never heard of the three S rule?
