Comanche Moon will be shown on CBS January 13th, 15th & 16th.
Gotta love the way these boneheads in CBS marketing managed to throw Brokeback Mountain in our faces during the promo.
First, they weren't cowboys, Hollyweird, get over it. They were sheep herders.
Second, they were in Montana, where men are men and the sheep are very nervous . . . . ;D
And, oh, by the way, BM (interestingly initialed) died an appropriate, well-deserved and inauspicious death at the box office. Yet another Ang Lee-directed POS. If I were McMurtry, I would not be tauting that movie too hard.

PS: Sorry Bidah, couldn't resist the MT snipe.
And to everyone who thought to harass me about the "tauting" typo, I know it is "touting". My bad.

Well pathfinder, of course it's his job to promote his screenplay/movie, Ang Lee has also done some great movies, but a movie that we don't agree with, and doing poorly is the American way, it does not mean, it was poorly directed, only We did not want to watch it, as I did not want to watch bbm, He also directed Tortilla Soup, which was and is a GREAT movie. I read Lonesome dove a long time ago, and it was wonderful. The minie series was also wonderfully done, 8 hours with great actors who did the story justice. Of course I don't know if this new series will do the same justice, but I hope it will. I will watch it, and make my determinations later. Out of here. Goodnight.
