When I got up yesterday and went out back to have coffee and watch sun up, I noticed a male Martin on the bird box. This morning, there were two. A male and a female. Here in Texas that's the official start of spring. YeeHa! ;D

I had my coffee and looked out back. Two snowmen on the turkey mound. One more than last time I looked.
I hates you! ;D

The iguanas are no longer falling out of the trees from the low temps.... :-\
The snook are moving around the back water, and the homeless are back:

He is at least not known for too much BS...... ;)

I found a dead robin on the sidewalk at work last week. Does that mean spring's here? And saw a nice fat squirrel in the back yard this morning.
-
Isn't seeing a dead robin like the groundhog seeing it's shadow? :)

I think if it FROZE TO DEATH, that is probably a BAD SIGN ::)

So I guess the sumbitch missed the worm??

Remember, the "Early Bird Gets The Worm" and also takes the chance of freezing to death! The smart bird stays in until it warms up enough for it to be out and still gets the worm!
FWIW

CJS3,
It may have been Spring in Katy, Texas a couple of days ago, but up here near Waco it's 4" of snow with more to come today. Reminds you of the old saying about waiting 15 min. the weather will change again. I think this makes 4 times we have had snow this season. Can't remember the last time that has happened here in Texas...
