Just thinking out loud. Some younger members may not remember. But I have three suggestions.
Duane Eddy, Rebel-Rouser.
The Shadows Version of Peter Gunn. ;D
OR
Link Wray, Jack The Ripper.
Thoughts??? ::)
Got to be a classic, but representative of the forum. Appeals to folks of all ages, and geography, relates to Southern members, Northern and Mid Western, South Western areas, and must be timeless. Not sad, not tear in my beer stuff, but something ALL OF US can relate to.

If nothing else, it's good tunes, and relates to most if not all of us here.....Even FQ. ;D

The Brothers Go To Mother's from Peter Gunn is much better.

Gringo Pistolero, by Allen Wayne Damron, I have not been able to find it by him on the internet, I did post a version by, Andy Stanford, done on the range with an accordion, Andy is something else, but this version is poor, maybe someone elses google fu is much stronger than mine, the other is something to shoot by Chris Wall, some of you will not like it, but most of you will get the humor.

Golden Earring - Twilight Zone - When the bullet hits the bone..

This one works for me too. It's light hearted and fun. Maybe not as many dems whinning as some of the other songs.

Golden Earring - Twilight Zone - When the bullet hits the bone..
They opened for Rush at the very first actual concert that I ever went to, making them the first band I ever saw.

Steve Lee gets my nod. Still makes me smile every time....and still no urge to shut it off...

Ok...it's Leave My Guns Alone by Trigger jack Band on the days when Steve Lee's I Like Guns is to much again for some folks.

Steve Lee would be a close second.

I suggest, and I believe at least Jay B will concur, John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom".
