It all sounds about right. This is a prime example of one of Our Marines properly instructing a potentially dangerous group. I think he showed amazing restraint. This old sailor says, Semper Fi, and God bless our Marines.

No complaints about his method at all.
I wonder how the Iraqi head honchos felt when he turned around and got stuck into them. ;D

I think that pretty much sums up the big problem over there.

I wonder if someone at State got the vapors? I'm all for Obama talking to Iran if he sends this guy. ;D

Looks like he was Army. Could not see the patch on shoulder well enough to I.D.

I love it!! Clear, crisp and to the point communication! MAN-UP and go do what needs to be done! Why put our troops asses on the line when their own men won't fight? I wish he could talk to congress and the senate!! FANTASTIC !

I think was posted some time back.
However, I think we have out UN representative candidate for the T&T ticket....Well, that is after they get booted out of NYC.
Okay, maybe just our envoy to the Middle East? I think he has great communication skills, and has no problem providing clarity and intentions.

I wonder how much that got changed by the translator. I'm sure it was a huge case of "lost in translation."
-
gotta love it.
in my opinion iraq is a lost cause.
if for say china invaded us to save us from obama we would still do everything we can to screw them over. even if their cause is just i know i would be out there hitting Chinese vehicles with IED's, wouldn't we all?
this is the same place the iraqi people are in. we are basically rick rocked. only thing to do is get the hell out of dodge.

As many of us have previously posted, there is a foreign policy that is retribution, and to send a message. Than you have what became "nation building"......
Give them the chance to re-boot, teach the BG's a lesson in swift and blinding assaults, actually make them UNDERSTAND that attacks on this country will not be tolerated by Islamic terrorists, and move on.
If it happens again, the Air Force, can deal a follow up attack from 40,000 feet, and come home,....Let the UN provide humanitarian assistance.
Don't (insert profanity), with the United States. That should be our foreign policy.

I wonder the same thing.

I believe the translator was in American fatigues. Not Iraqi Defense uniform.

I wonder if it mattered, my intel, is that the guys on the ground, get their best intel from the children. They are the second set of interpreters , and more honest..

Have you been smoking the shrubbery ?
IRAQ is the only one we have WON.
Our stated objective was to "get Saddam Hussien (done) and remove the Baathist Government (done )
And then keep Al Queda from starting a civil war while the Iraqi's rebuilt a strong central Government (also done, pretty much )
Afghanistan has been 6 months of "Give em hell" followed by 8 1/2 years of WTF are we still doing in that sh!thole ?
