This is my Mobile Deer Stand. Got tired of building a stand and find out it is in the wrong place. I solved that problem. I took my tractor and built my stand on the back of the fenders. It is removable, so I can use my tractor and when I want to go to the woods just put it back on. . I well upload some more later..

I like the fact that you thought to put in a rifle rack for transport! ;)

Here are some more pictures of my dear stand and one of the places I park it over looking my field.

The gun rack holds two long guns. I didn’t like the idea of my babies rattling around on the floor.

Would that be by chance a 58cal perc. muzzle loader you have sitting in the stand?
Sort of looks like a plain version of an enfield 2 bander?

1861 Springfield ? Trap Door ?
-
Both of you are wrong. It is an 1873 Springfield 45/70 Trapdoor. I use it for primitive session. In 08 Louisiana started letting us use weapons designed before 1900. There is a list of weapons you can and cannot use.

I honestly don't think you want me to post a pic of my "dear" stand! Her Lazyboy isn't as nice as yours! I might be prone to post a pic of my "deer" stand, but you won't be impressed by either! LMFAO!

Plus 1, McGyver. I was afraid he was shooting at his "dear" wifey and not at some venison on the hoof! ROTFL

Send venison! ;) ;D

He isn't just pointing the gun out the back door, Haz. He has to ride the tractor to where ever he wants to set up that day. And don't forget he has to WALK to the tractor, and we don't even know how far that might be =)...
But send venison anyway =)
-
Nice idea, Wolfgang....I better not let my son see those pictures....it'll give him too many ideas. ;D
Send venison! ;) ;D
Speaking of venison, we had a freezer in my parents storage room quit last week.... and over half of it's contents was venison. Lost it all............I was sick, sick, sick.

Good Idea wolfgang, I have long thought of putting a base in my pickup bed, for a box and pipe to sit on, get me 10 - 12' in the air anyway. I think i would paint the burlap black on the inside to prevent your shadow from showing. ;D

Not out the back door but close enough, ¼ mile.

Most of all the shots around here are within a hundred yards or so. Here are a couple of Google pictures of my place. I’ve got thirty acres total and it is mostly wooded. The field I just acquired from my cousin.
