Title: Take your daughter to the range day
Post by: BAC on March 06, 2010, 05:29:20 PM
Amanda and I went to the range today.

She started out with her air rifle:

Then tried my M1 Carbine:

Finally we went to the pistol range and she tried my Cimarron Evil Roy:

She liked the carbine but loved the revolver.   ;D  I may never get it back.  It was her first time firing a "real" gun.  She had a ball and is truly a natural with the revolver.  She's very smart because she realizes at a very early age that "wheel guns is real guns."  Now I need to teach her to clean them.   :)

What's that white stuff on the ground??? ???

Fantastic pictures, (even the pink rifle),  ;) Good to see young kids being brought up at the "range"...

Thank you BAC.

Thanks, BAC.  Good work...and the pics make the final gasps of winter here feel warmer.

You might want to let her know her fingernail polish didn't match her pink stock color.... :D....but other than that, looks like she has everything under control.  :D

Thanks.  You can't see them in the photos, but she was wearing pink cowgirl boots that matched her air rifle perfectly.

Thanks Phil.  It's not an actual range event (although it is a good idea).  I just thought it would be a clever title for my post.  Her air rifle is a Gamo Lady Recon, and those pink ears would be a perfect match for the rifle and the cowgirl boots.   :)

SHE GOT TO SHOOT BEFORE SHE LEARNED TO CLEAN THEM??? I had to learn to clean them first! ;D That's a beautiful thing, dude! She's hooked for life now!

Probably have another year before my older granddaughter is mature enough to shoot.   First the R-7 in the back yard then we'll move to the range for the cute little .22 I'm going to build for her.
